The friendly staff at the Bermagui VIC can assist you with information on the local area and Sapphire Coast region, accommodation and attractions. Free local and regional maps and an extensive range of NSW and interstate tourism brochures. Local art, craft and photography, postcards, greeting cards, souvenirs, inexpensive gifts and other merchandise for purchase. Open 10am to 4pm daily (closed Christmas Day).

Pick up a copy of the Heritage Walk booklet and the Heritage Drive brochure and discover how things were in the early days of Bermagui’s settlement. Available from the Bermagui Museum and Bermagui Visitor Information Centre.

Bermagui Heritage Walk and Drive

Enchanting 3½ acres of exquisite open gardens featured on major TV shows including Burke’s Backyard and Better Homes and Gardens and is the subject of the book “Velvet Pears”. The essence of the gardens is one of romance, fairytale like charm and quaint English style elegance. With each season there are new wonders and floral delights to explore. Water features, a gardened ruin and the Willow House overlooking the duck pond. Open 9am to 5pm. Takes approximately 1½ hours to view.
